Second-Generation 2011 BMW X3 Spied

Look closely and you'll see a sportier fascia take form under the camouflage. Bigger air intakes hint at a more athletic X3. Head and taillights are thoroughly hidden from view, but expect full bi-xenon headlamps and LED taillamps on their respective ends.

it'll be powered by the brand's naturally aspirated 230-hp 3.0L inline-six cylinder or its twin-turbo counterpart with 300 hp on board. The model will likely have one or two of the various BMW diesel motors currently on the market.

Given the M division's love for tuning, we wouldn't be surprised to see an optional sport package included in the new X3's mix.

Expect more detailed spy pics and information as the model continues testing prior to its official debut.
